The American Society of Hematology recently released a new journal, Blood Advances. This journal is an online only open access journal, publishing articles on basic laboratory, translational, and clinical investigations in hematology. Topics cover all aspects of hemtology, including disorders of leukocytes, both benign and malignant, erythrocytes, platelets, hemostatic mechanisms, vascular biology, immunology, and hematologic oncology.
