Last Chance to see our T150 "Celebrating Townsville" exhibition!

A gallery visitor with Robert Preston's charcoal drawings currently on display in the "Celebrating Townsville" exhibition.
The wonderful "Celebrating Townsville" exhibition - organised by the JCU Library Special Collections team finishes this week!  If you have not had a chance to get into Umbrella Studio contemporary arts in Townsville (Flinders Street West) then you can still visit this Sunday as the gallery will be open from 9am to 1pm.

The exhibition is really beautiful and features 26 works by 12 different artists, all JCU Alumni.
Peruse the catalogue here online and pick up your own complimentary hard copy when you visit on Sunday - add this rare item to your own book collection.

Another visitor to the "Celebrating Townsville" exhibition takes a close look at the artworks by Lucy T. Smith in the show drawn from the James Cook University Art Collection.
Catch up with the "Celebrating Townsville" video documentary about the artists in the exhibition created by the staff and students of JCU Media Journalism here.  Enjoy other interviews and video content created by JCU students also currently running on the JCNN channel.

We hope to see you at the show this Sunday for one last look at the show before it becomes history!
