Referencing and getting published

Harvard (Anuradhac, 2006)
Have you stressed over commas and italics in referencing and wondered ‘Why do I need to get this right?’ A group of students discovered another answer to that question last week at InfoHelp.

Their references had to be written to CSIRO's Marine and Freshwater Research journal's house style. This style is based on the Harvard system and includes specific examples for referencing, format and presentation. Authors' attention to correct referencing reduces the workload of the editorial team which would increase the chances of getting published.

Discover the precision of referencing using the online LibGuides or by talking with library staff at InfoHelp. And yes, the Harvard system originated from a researcher at Harvard University.
