Repairs to the Library roof (may cause some disturbances)

Northern Entrance
The Eddie Koiki Mabo Library building in Townsville is an award winning piece of architecture (really - we're not making this up) and a prime example of Brutalist design from the late 1960s.

It also needs its roof repaired before the next wet season starts.

These repairs will begin on Monday the 3rd of November, and should only take a few days.

There will also be some unavoidable noise during this time, especially on the top floor.

We apologise for the inconvenience, but the repairs are necessary.  Every effort will be made to keep the disruption to a minimum, and the repairs should be completed within a few days.
